I'm so disappointed I haven't been able to complete my kitchen transformation during the One Room Challenge period. Sadly I caught a very determined bug that has hung on for 2 weeks now. Whilst I've not been too poorly to work, I've come home from the workshop each evening so fatigued that I've just had no energy to carry on working on the kitchen.
However I'm far enough along that there's no stopping here. I'll be continuing with the project over the next few weeks, at least I will as soon as I feel better.
I'm so glad about one thing though ...
If I'd not done the One Room Challenge I wouldn't have got myself back into blogging. I was a full-time business coach for some years and I would blog every week without fail. For years! The ORC has reminded me how much I love blogging and sharing what I'm up to, so you can be sure I'll be blogging regularly from now on. I will keep you up to date with what's happening in Barley and Twist, as well as sharing tips and techniques for you to take on your own projects too.
Incidentally, my daughter has told me she hates the colour of the walls and units! Apparently it's the same colour as the Greenbank High School uniform (an all girls school that she went to in Southport). Ah well, just as well she doesn't live here anymore ... though you wouldn't believe that some weeks! Haha.
So keep coming back for more updates of progress on the kitchen transformation, even though the One Room Challenge is over. And if you want to find out what others managed to achieve then click the button below for updates.
